Our 2014 Riesling is a unique opportunity to taste a Riesling with 3 years age, we crafted this wine to last. With most Riesling consumed within a year, most miss out on the opportunity to experience the depth of flavour that can come with patience.
Long and intense citrus flavours that are clean and refreshing are combined with rose petal and orange blossom aromas. This crisp dry Riesling is crafted to be enjoyed now or aged and savoured in the future.
Our winemaker Jo Irvine has skilfully crafted our Riesling to be an example of the very best that the Eden Valley can offer. Our fruit is handled very delicately from vineyard to winery to ensure a clean and true fruit flavour.
Our “Thistle & Burr” Riesling is named after our pioneering ancestor Heinrich Fiebiger and the many roles he undertook after settling in the region in 1861.
