Huon Hooke
Very good colour, deep and still retains some purple tints, the bouquet savoury and sousbois-like, oak-tinged and earthy with some age development showing. Creosote and Vegemite hints. The wine is leanish and sinewy, not without charm - it has some elegance. There is juicy, raspberry, ripe-fruit succulence at the core. The raspberry sweet fruit is very Eden Valley. I could enjoy a glass or two of this.
